BLOCK V  Assignment

All student compositions will be reviewed, and they will receive personalized feedback from Polo Ortí.

This is the last assignment of this course and the most important one; it will assess whether the student has taken advantage of and understood all the techniques explained in the course. The objective is to create a composition lasting a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes, utilizing as many techniques as possible that have been covered in this course.
The composition must be presented in audio (mp3) and sheet music. The sheet music format can be presented with chord notation and melody, or without chord notation but showing the musical notation, or both.

Maximum file size: 10M

We will include these elements:

First Song:

Composition of a ballad, a slow theme, with a brief part for improvisation. The chosen form is optional: it can have an AABA structure, ABCDA Coda, etc., or a free structure. Choose the rhythm you prefer.

Second Song:

Composition of an up-tempo theme, a fast theme, with a brief part for improvisation. The chosen form is optional; it can have an AABA structure, ABCDA Coda, or a free structure. Choose the rhythm you prefer.
